ELIGIBILITY
Any completed, owner-occupied home (primary residence or second home) located in Colorado. All styles and sizes accepted. The project may not have been published in Colorado Homes & Lifestyles or any other national or regional publication prior to the contest. Each project may be entered only once.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Entries may be submitted by homeowners, home designers, architects, builders and interior designers and must include a completed entry form. Home designers, architects, builders and interior designers must include the homeowners’ signed release authorizing publication of the home.

Entries must include a cover letter that briefly describes the home and its owners. The letter should include details about the home designer, the architect, the builder, the interior designer, the location and the home's features.

Entries should include color photographs (digital or hard copy), 35mm slides, 2 1/4-inch transparencies or 4-by-5-inch transparencies. Entries should include photographs of the living/great room, kitchen, master bedroom, master bath, dining room and any other spaces that make the home distinctive. Please include shots of the overall design as well as special details or finishes, materials, etc.

All photographs, slides and transparencies must be clearly labeled with the entrant’s name, address and telephone number so the materials can be returned. (Materials will be handled with care; however, Colorado Homes & Lifestyles assumes no responsibility for lost or damaged materials. Please do not send originals.)

Professional photography is not required but is welcomed. Professional photographs must have photo credits.

PUBLICATION OF WINNING ENTRIES
Award-winning entries must be available for publication in Colorado Homes & Lifestyles’ Home of the Year 2008 issue and may not be published in any other publication without written consent from Colorado Homes & Lifestyles until after November 1, 2008.

Award-winning HOTY homes must be available to a Colorado Homes & Lifestyles photographer for one full day. Award-winning homeowners, architects, builders and/or designers must be available to be interviewed by a Colorado Homes & Lifestyles writer or editor.
