SHAVER-RAMSEY ORIENTAL RUGS AND DÉCOR ANNOUNCES NEW DESIGN SERVICES DIVISION

Shaver-Ramsey Oriental Rugs and Décor is pleased to introduce their Design Services division.  This new concept in service will provide designers and their clients access to the outstanding carpets that have made Shaver-Ramsey renown, with the convenience of retail shopping and support that design professionals expect from their sources.  According to principal Elizabeth Vehko, while Shaver-Ramsey has always given consideration to the trade, “we wanted to go beyond discounts to provide full service for all of a project’s rug needs.”  Shaver-Ramsey, serving Colorado and the West for over 30 years, is known as one of the country’s premier rug stores and this service is an extension of that high quality.

Design Services will allow design professionals to have one point of contact for a project’s rug needs.  The staff can assist during the planning stages - meeting with design professionals and clients in the showroom or office. “We will also be happy to pre-select using fabrics, boards or blueprints,” added principal Paul Ramsey.  “We have access to the best rug sources in the world and will search to find the right rugs for the client’s needs.  We can meet on-site for measurements and bring options to try.  Once choices have been made, we will coordinate installation, delivery, and storage, if needed.”

Judy Rejebian, a former manager at Shaver-Ramsey, will head up Design Services.  In addition to her years with Shaver-Ramsey, Judy has worked in a variety of rug retail and design center showrooms, run her own home accessories business and attended the Arapahoe Community College interior design program.  As such, she will be an excellent liaison between the rug and design worlds, helping design professionals meet their project goals.  Judy summed up this exciting new concept as: “We know that working on a design project can be challenging, multi-faceted and hectic.  Shaver-Ramsey Design Services wants to make things go a little easier - while providing design professionals and their clients with the best rugs in the world.”
